History is a lie — uncovering a lost global civilization

What if everything you learned about history was wrong? Is official history a lie? Did we inherit a majestic past only to be taught “we built it”?

In my recent posts, we’ve explored the deliberate poisoning of our food and the flimsy deceptions behind NASA’s official narratives. Today, we’re diving into a conspiracy that dwarfs them all — one that doesn’t just obscure a single event or a product, but fundamentally erases an entire epoch of human history and the global civilization that defined it.

Welcome to the deception of our hidden history.

The curious case of the 19th-century building boom

Standing in every major city around the world are grand, ornate, and impossibly elaborate buildings — presented to us as city halls, parliament buildings, libraries, post offices, courthouses, prisons and asylums. We are told, in our official history books, that these structures were built rapidly in the mid-to-late 1800s.

Below: The Polytechnic Museum in Moscow, Russia, as photographed in 1884. How interesting that in this photo, the building already looks old. Could this grand structure, which shares the exact same architectural characteristics as countless other buildings globally, really have been built by the horse-and-buggy people of the time?

Now, imagine the technology of that era: the horse and buggy, steam engines, and manual labor. Ask yourself:

  • Could a population with rudimentary construction methods, often recovering from devastating fires or “rebellions,” have built thousands of identical, breathtaking, and often massive structures, featuring soaring columns, intricate stonework, and perfect symmetry, simultaneously across every continent?

  • Why does the architecture of San Francisco, London, St. Petersburg, Sydney, Mumbai, and Buenos Aires share a striking, almost standardized, global aesthetic? (See examples in the featured video below.)

  • How were the resources and expertise mobilized to create a worldwide infrastructure of electrical tram lines, ornate lampposts, and sophisticated sewage systems before the supposed mass adoption of electricity and modern engineering?

For researcher and author Jon Levi, the answer is clear: We did not build these structures at all.

Meet Jon Levi: the man excavating the lie

This is where the compelling work of Jon Levi comes in. For many years now, Jon has been working to unearth the monumental historical truth. Although he frequently tells his viewers, “I do not know, I am only asking questions,” his videos present overwhelming visual evidence that demands a radical re-evaluation of the human story.

The central thesis he explores is this:

The exquisite, elaborate architecture presented as “19th-century construction” is actually the inherited infrastructure of an advanced, previous global civilization — a civilization that was wiped out, possibly by a global cataclysm, and subsequently buried, stolen, and claimed by the current power structures.

In his video, Where Are We,” Jon invites us to play a game that highlights a key point about the uniform nature of this architecture and the official narrative used to cover it up. He presents images of identical architectural styles — grand columns, domes, arches, and high windows — in cities ranging from Paris to the American Midwest, from Egypt to China.

Clearly, this is not a local style; it is a universal standard. Can you guess the countries in which these buildings stand?

Jon’s compelling narration — often delivered with a dry sense of humor — makes the uneasy realization of this enormous deception manageable. He reminds us that once you see the pattern, you cannot un-see it. And it is everywhere, hidden in plain sight.

The mechanism of erasure: “World’s Fairs” and repurposed ruins

The deception is two-fold: not only were a lost civilization’s buildings claimed as our own, but the evidence of their true scale and purpose was meticulously destroyed or disguised.

The World’s Fairs: The Great Scavenger Operation

Jon’s videos consistently highlight a crucial piece of this deception: the World’s Fairs. We are told that impossibly grand, ornate cities — like the famous “White City” supposedly built for the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair and shown in the photo at the top of this post — were erected in just two years, only to be torn down immediately after. Yet the sheer scale, sophisticated materials (stone, marble, steel), and complexity of the utilities defy the narrative of a temporary, turn-of-the-century building project.

The reality, Jon asserts, is that the Fairs were a public relations event used to showcase and briefly occupy the surviving infrastructure of the Old World. Once the crowds dispersed, the structures were hastily and unceremoniously demolished — not because they were temporary, but to destroy the evidence of a previous civilization’s existence and technological capability.

Why else would anyone build Rome in a day… and then immediately destroy it?

Below: The Palace of Machinery Arts building at the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair. This 17-acre palace, boasting the world’s largest movable roof and lit by the biggest power plant on Earth, is said to have been built from swamp in less than 22 months.

Below: Le Château d’eau, the Palace of Electricity building at the 1900 Paris World’s Fair. It beggars belief that this glorious structure was built from scratch in just two years, for a six-month fair, and then demolished.

Repurposed Ruins: Castles and Palaces

Adding to the deception is the observation that many institutional buildings of the 19th century — including massive prisons, asylums, and armories — appear to be nothing less than repurposed castles. These structures possess the thick, formidable walls, turrets, and imposing architecture characteristic of ancient castles and fortifications.

This suggests that the current “gatekeepers” did not just claim these buildings; they strategically mislabeled them, often designating them as places of confinement or fear, effectively keeping the public away from the greatest surviving architectural evidence of our forgotten past.

Below: Sugar House Prison, previously the Utah Territorial Penitentiary, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Does this look like a structure built by pioneers in 1855, or a repurposed castle from a prior, more sophisticated empire?

Where are we now: universal deception

The deception is not local; it is a meticulously coordinated, global lie. Beyond the anomaly of a consistent, global architectural footprint, we must also come to grips with evidence of a global catalcysm, and a global conspiracy to cover it up.

The mystery of the buried floors (the Mud Flood theory)

The history we are fed is challenged by the physical evidence under our feet. Jon consistently points to evidence of buildings where the ground floor is clearly buried — basement windows that look like ground-level ones, and entire floors seemingly sunk into the earth. This supports the theory of a “Mud Flood” or similar catastrophic event that buried a large portion of the infrastructure of the prior civilization.

The gatekeepers: a conspiracy of compliance

Crucially, this deception is not just the work of one tyrannical regime. It is a conspiracy of compliance involving every single government, educational institution, architectural board, and gatekeeper worldwide. They all parrot the same fabricated history: “Built in 1888 by a guy named Smith and his crew of Irish immigrants.” This lie is the foundation upon which modern power structures are built.

Throughout his videos, Jon points out the illogical nature of the history we are fed, often presenting photos of these incredible stone structures standing alongside dirt roads and small, wooden shacks, and asks: Which reality is ours, and which is inherited?

The evidence suggests that not only were the buildings stolen, but the advanced technology that powered this previous civilization was also suppressed.

Erased evidence: star forts and universal power

Beyond inexplicable architecture, Jon’s work often includes the discussion of Star Forts — intricately designed geometric fortifications found on every continent, many of which are now being deliberately covered up, erased, or repurposed by modern authorities.

These stunning structures, like the architecture itself, suggest a unified, global culture that possessed advanced knowledge of earthworks, geometry, and resource management.

Below: Fort Bourtange, Netherlands. Just a little Dutch fort “built in” 1591. It is one of thousands of magnificent star forts found on every continent. Notice the sacred geometry with acoustic properties, water harmonics… Was this built for defense, or something else?

Jon suggests that this lost civilization may have also possessed:

  • Free Energy Systems: The architecture, with its many domes, spires, and antennae-like structures — “antiquitech” as Jon calls it — is posited by many as being a grand, harmonic energy transmission system, using the Earth’s natural resonance (a concept often associated with a lost land called Tartaria).

  • A “Great Reset”: The “controllers” haven’t just stolen buildings; they’ve enacted a Great Reset of history, positioning themselves as the original builders and true inheritors, when they were simply the scavengers who moved into the remnants of the ruins.

The magnitude of this conspiracy — a global effort to convince humanity that it only recently emerged from primitive darkness, when the magnificent stone evidence of a far greater past stands right under our noses — is staggering.

I urge you to watch Where Are We and dive into Jon Levi’s work. It may not be Jon’s most polished video, as he readily admits, but it will change the way you look at your own city, your own history, and the global narrative we have all been taught.

(If you find Jon’s narrative style a little measured, I suggest changing the playback speed to 1.25x or 1.5x. It sounds perfectly fine and will help you to absorb more content faster.)

If this video piques your interest, Jon’s channel offers content in spades. Below are some more videos that make for a good start. Jon usually posts a new video every Sunday.

Just wow:

Amazing, right?

And remember, Jon doesn’t have to be right about everything. Even if there are logical, legitimate reasons for many of these buildings, there are still the star forts, melted bricks, ancient maps, and many more anomalies that defy explanation.

Personally, I am convinced. I have been exploring this topic for years, and I have seen enough that the evidence is overwhelming. Our past has been stolen from us in what surely must be the greatest lie in the history of the world.

And so I ask myself: Given the unfathomable depths of this global deception, how can any of us ever again believe anything we are told?

    1. A quick check of your grammar reveals one of two things: either your auto-correct is as broken as your capacity for critical thinking, or you believe the plural form of the word is superior to the superlative. Either way, your response is noted, and entirely expected.
