The office isn’t entirely closed… just heavily guarded.
For more than 30 years, I lived in the trenches of the “Big Idea” era. I spent 20 years as a direct response copywriter before pivoting to the digital and social landscapes. I’ve solved the problems, partnered with the designers, and mentored the writers.
But recently, I stepped away from the traditional rat race. Why? Because the industry I spent three decades building has largely traded craft for compliance, and wit for algorithmic nonsense. I am completely done solving corporate problems for soulless brands.
These days, you’ll mostly find me on a sun-bleached bar stool in Florida, focusing on things that are real — like my family, my yard, and a properly made margarita.
However, I still know how to swing a hammer.
If you are looking for safe, generic, AI-generated corporate fluff to appease a committee, look elsewhere. There are a million entry-level writers willing to give you that.
But if you want copy written by a human being who actually understands real-world operations — we should talk. I write copy that connects with real people because I have spent my life working alongside them.
The Terms:
- No Bureaucracy: I deal directly with decision-makers, not layers of risk-averse middle management.
- No Algorithmic Slop: We write for humans, not search engine spiders.
- Selective Availability: I only take on projects that interest me, with people I respect, when I feel like stepping away from the bar stool.
Let’s talk shop

If you’re just here to learn, the 30 years of expertise I brought to the table is baked into every post on this blog. The truth is in the archive, and it’s free.
